While researching for the Abode’s Pir Vilayat Archives project I’ve come across a vast amount of materials from 2004-06 on a few old websites created by Steve Amdur. If you know anything about him and or this work, I would appreciating your contacting me (novellakeith@gmail.com) so I can follow up on it and make sure all these efforts are put to the best possible use. I am assuming that he is no longer with us in body… but perhaps I’m wrong!
What I know of him from these websites and a bit more research is that he was quite knowledgeable about Judaism, of a philosophical bent, had written a thesis on Wittgenstein at the University of New Mexico in 1967 and in the early 2000s was living in Campra, Switzerland. He was communicating with SO Seattle, Germany, Abode, Suresnes, etc. There are also many references to Kaivan’s materials.

Last I knew he had moved to Israel.
He did have brother in this Country but I don’t have his info anymore. I’ll see if I can find anything.
