Living with Relevance in Precarious Times
A Conversation with Joanna Macy
Friday, March 18, 3 - 4:30 p.m. EST
Friends,
We are delighted to host Joanna Macy, a treasured elder who evolved a unique integration of general systems theory, Buddhism, and deep ecology that has had worldwide influence via her many books, workshops, and the Work That Reconnects Network. She has been an activist in the movements for peace, justice, and ecology for five decades.
Joanna is also a dear friend, a walking and talking partner for many years, and one of the smartest, real-est people I know. While she can be astonishingly tough-minded, her joie de vivre and sense of gratitude always shine through.
Join us for an honest conversation about “living with full presence and all our vitality and gifts at this particular time when life on earth is being threatened as never before.” After we hear from Joanna, you will be invited into this conversation through breakout groups followed by shared questions and reflections.
All are welcome!
