Practices Inspired by the 10 Sufi Thoughts

with Yaqin Aubert and Naima Brown

There are ten principal Sufi thoughts, which comprise all the important subjects with which the inner life of humanity is concerned.

  • Hazrat Inayat Khan

All who have realized the secret of life understand that life is one, but that it exists in two aspects. First as immortal, all pervading and silent; and secondly as mortal, active and manifest in variety.

  • Hazrat Inayat Khan

Pir-O-Murshid Inayat Khan described the basic principles and perspectives of the Sufi Mystic in the Sufi Message Volume 1 as the 10 Sufi Thoughts. Each thought is like an open door leading to more profound understandings. We will contemplate these beautiful and meaningful thoughts and search deeper through the practices of Breath, Wazaif, Zikr, Visualizing, Listening and Sensing.

All are welcome! Ashiqs, Murids, experienced and new travelers on the path …
