Food needs to be grown and processed, transported, distributed, prepared, consumed, and sometimes disposed of. Each of these steps creates greenhouse gasses that trap the sun’s heat and contribute to climate change. About a third of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions is linked to food. In this gathering we will explore how we can be more attentive to caring for the world through our food choices. Participants are invited to share information about what their local communities are doing to make the processing and disposal of food more Earth-friendly. More details and the Zoom link.
