Invitation to Inayatiyya Leaders Gathering on Saturday, June 27, 2020

Dear Inayatiyya Leaders,

With the many circumstances that have quickly changed our ways of life, it may be an ideal time to regroup and come together around our common cause. We invite you to join us for one day, Saturday, June 27, 2020, to check-in and further align ourselves toward the future.

We will begin the day with a Keynote by Pir Zia . After a short break, we will return to discuss what it means to have the power to give the Ashiq Initiation . Every leader within our Seven Activities has this power.

After that, we will discuss what it means to build a global digital community in the time of a pandemic. We will share our experiences and also the latest advisement from digital gurus.

With Race, Justice, Equity & Love becoming a central focus within the Inayatiyya, we will consider what this means for us as leaders. At the end of the day, we will join back with Pir Zia for Suhbat .

Here is the link with details and to register.

All leaders (including leaders-in-training) within the Inayatiyya’s Seven Activities are encouraged to join us for this day. As per the current norm, we will be using Zoom, and we recommend attendance in real-time, if possible, with the video being made available by first thing the next day. (Registering to watch the video only is fine if you are unable to join us in person.)

The full-day is only $50. This money goes to help support the infrastructure quietly working behind the scenes. If this is too much, scholarships are also available. Just email Josh at astana@inayatiyya.org and he can help you be with us.

Additionally, on Sunday, June 28, we are having a day open to anyone, yet designed for those newer to the Inayatiyya. It’s an Intro to the Inayatiyya and we hope you invite your friends and students who may want to meet with Pir Zia to learn more about Murshid’s teachings. You are welcome to join us, too, to see how the Inayatiyya’s core principles and framework are laid out for a more public group. Registration is via the same Season of the Rose link as shared above.

Please reach out if there are any questions. The Astana staff is on a Sunday through Thursday schedule, with Fridays and Saturdays off, so forgive us if there is a delay during our “weekend.” (We often do respond to emails these days, too, especially leading into big events.) Email is best right now with the office closed due to the pandemic: astana@inayatiyya.org.

We hope that by coming together on Saturday, June 27, we can feel more grounded and supported in our inner and outer work as leaders. May this be so!

With love,

Alia
