Inner School of the Inayatiyya Leaders Training Module on Contemplation

We invite you to an online course of the Inner School (aka Esoteric school) of the Inayatiyya Leaders Training Module on Contemplation. This course is a comprehensive and deep training in the meditation practices taught by the Inayati Order. Contemplation is the second stage in the stages of unfoldment of Concentration, Contemplation, Meditation, and Realization, as described by Hazrat Inayat Khan, invaluable material for teaching classes and guiding Murids.
Completion of the Leaders Training Modules are a requirement for appointment as a Representative. Representatives in training in the Inayati Order Esoteric School Leadership Training program will need to have completed this course during or before their training; existing Coordinators and Coordinators in training are also encouraged to take this course. Existing Representatives are also invited to take this course for ongoing enrichment. It covers material that may not have been available in the past.
The course is also open to those in leadership roles, or training for leadership roles, in the other 5 activities of the Inayati Order, or in leadership roles in one of the member organizations of the Federation of the Sufi Message.
This course is guided by two senior teachers of the Inayati Order, Yaqin Aubert and Naima Khabira Brown. During this weekend Yaqin and Naima will guide participants through the foundational practices of contemplation in a sacred retreat atmosphere. There will be opportunities to ask questions, share experiences and engage in an online community of friendship. Participants will receive a manual of the contemplation practices which are covered in the course.

Cost : Early Registration: $130.00 by Sep. 7th; Registration: $150 after Sep. 7th, 2020. Discounts available for current Suluk attendees, Contemplation Module graduates, and by special request.

Yaqin Aubert is the Vice President of the Inayati Order, a mystical and ecumenical fellowship rooted in the visionary legacy of Hazrat Inayat Khan. He is a founding member of the Abode community in upstate New York where he directs the Pir Vilayat Center for Meditation and Retreat. Yaqin is a senior teacher in the Inner School of the Inayatiyya. He has been both a mentor and teacher in the Suluk Academy, in which he taught the Contemplation. He guides individual and small group retreats in North America.
Naima Khabira Brown serves as a Vice President of the Inner School of the Inayatiyya. She sustains and oversees the various programs within the Esoteric school including training for Coordinators and Representatives. She is a founding mentor of Suluk academy, advisor to the program and is currently supporting the mentors in Global Suluk. Naima serves as a center leader and teacher, Retreat Guide and Cheraga for the Inayatiyya in the greater Boston area and offers leaders training modules, esoteric classes and retreats online and in various locations.
