Inayatiyya Inner School Leaders Training Module on Contemplation

We invite you to the Contemplation Leaders Training Module offered by of the Inner School of the Inayatiyya. The Inner School’s Leaders Training Modules are a comprehensive, deep course of study in foundational meditation practices for teaching classes and guiding Murids. Contemplation is the second stage in the stages of unfoldment of Concentration, Contemplation, Meditation, and Realization, as described by Hazrat Inayat Khan, invaluable material for teaching classes and guiding Murids.
The presenters for this course are two teachers of the Inner School, Widad Sabina Cox and Naima Khabira Brown. During the two days Widad and Naima will guide participants through the foundational practices of Contemplation in a sacred atmosphere. There will be opportunities to ask questions, share experiences and engage in an online community of friendship. Participants will receive a manual of the contemplation practices which are covered in the course.
Completion of the Leaders Training Modules are a requirement for appointment as a Representative. Representatives in training in the Inner school of the Inayatiyya Leadership Training program will need to have completed this course during or before their training; existing Coordinators and Coordinators in training are also encouraged to take this course. Existing Representatives are also invited to take this course for ongoing enrichment or as a refresher.
The course is also open to Murids who have studied for sometime and are recommended by their guide to participate, who seek a comprehensive overview of our foundational practices in Contemplation.

Cost: Early Registration: $130.00, by Jan. 29; Registration $150 after Jan. 29; Refresher: $60. Refresher is for those who wish to retake the modules to further grow and enhance their skills. To request a lower price contact naima@gardenlight.org to get a discount code to use during registration.

Widad Sabina Cox is a Teacher and Guide in the Inayatiyya and has taught online classes for the Inner School for several years. She is a graduate of Suluk Shama class. She was a teacher in the international program Introduction to the Inner School*: Quest For Meaningfulness*. Widad hosts weekly online Animal and Nature Assisted Awakening Gatherings with kindreds around the world, in the Presence of her unique herd of horse beings who act as amplifiers of Presence. She follows a creative calling to weave the palpable Presence of the “Herd of Light” into her offerings in the Inayatiyya and is deeply inspired to be of Service to the Message in this way. Widad lives a nature-inspired life in Northern California, on the land with the Herd. She is a full time caregiver for children and their families, is a musician, songwriter and a practitioner of subtle energy healing.
Naima Khabira Brown teaches numerous classes on the mystical practices and basic themes of the Inner School. She created the international program Introduction to the Inner School: Quest For Meaningfulness. She served as Vice President of the Inner School where among other responsibilities she directed and developed the new leaders training program. She is a member of the Esoteric Training Committee and offers Leaders Training Modules for the Inner School as well as serving as a Retreat Guide. She is a founding mentor for Suluk Academy and has participated in many supportive roles since its inception in 2003. She is a center leader and teacher for the Inayatiyya of the greater Boston area.
