As contemplation of the Iron, Copper, Silver and Golden Rules is a means of raising awareness of our moral relationship with fellow humans, the Emerald Contemplations serve the same purpose for our moral relationship with the living beings of Nature. An inspiration of Shams Kairys, developed by Shams and myself with the help of many others, the Emerald Contemplations are now posted on the Knighthood webpage (knighthoodofpurity.org). There are 10 Contemplations. Working with them as a daily practice allowing 40 days for each contemplation, it will take 400 days to complete the cycle.
