Awakening
to the power of love
Someday, after mastering the
winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness for God the
energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the
world, man will have discovered fire. Teilhard

Resonate
with us to the inspiring example of Pir Vilayat Khan who challenged
us to create “a beautiful world of beautiful people.” In this
spirit we will invoke a lively, deep, challenging and loving
exploration of what it means to be a lover and citizen in the world
today.
Inayat
Khan gifted us with six Activities to express this Message in our
Time. We will explore how two of these, the Kinship activity and the
Knighthood activity contribute to the evolutionary process of love
and transformation today. The vice presidents of these two
Activities, Suhrawardi Gebel for the Knighthood and Nur Azad Mangold
for the Kinship activity, will focus us in this exploratory process.
They will bring their own heartfelt relationship to these Activities
and at the same time will elicit from everyone their own intuitive
knowledge and loving experience of what it means to be a “Love
Warrior” in the world today. The backbone of the weekend will be
discovering the interplay between the Seven Leading Names training of
the Kinship activity and the Golden, Silver, Copper, and Iron rules
of the Knighthood and how they support, enhance and challenge us in
becoming “all that we can be”.
During the weekend, use some of
the following experiences: heartfelt dialogue, ecstatic movement,
music, dance, and meditation.

schedule:
Friday,
June 14, 7:30 PM. Introduction and overview of the weekend combined
with a ritual of belonging.
Saturday,
June 15, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Incorporation of the dynamic interchange
between kinship activity and the knighthood.
Saturday,
June 15, 7:30 PM. Dances of universal peace and other activities of
joyful connection to an unfolding universe of love.
Sunday,
June 16: universal worship followed by celebratory brunch. Later in
the day an honoring of the Urs and birthday of Pir Vilayat Inayat
Khan
This
