We invite you to explore a mine of unfathomably vast spiritual treasures in the community of like-hearted seekers: the Divine Names. We will approach these sacred names through their sound, explore the layers of meaning they encompass through their etymological roots and their reference in the Holy Qur’an, in the teachings of the Sufis and especially of our Inayatiyya lineage, and immerse ourselves in their mysteries through invocation in sacred remembrance.
Our course is open to Inayatiyya inquirers , ashiqs , murids and leaders, and recommends consulting an Inayatiyya Spiritual Guide when doing the given practices on one’s own.
This monthly series is led by Zumurrud Butta and Naima Brown, Vice Presidents of the Inayatiyya’s Inner School, together with our dear friend and special guest teacher Omid Safi.
Our classes will be on Thursdays, February 17, March 24, April 28, and June 2, from 2-3:30 pm ET (New York) and 8-9:30 pm CET (Vienna).
REGISTRATION DETAILS
The Divine Names series requires advanced registration and provides video if you are unable to attend every class. Please register by the second class on March 24 th to join us. A donation of any amount is welcome to take part in the class. Please see the sidebar to register.
