The Inayatiyya Kinship Activity Social Justice Book Group will explore the world of Viral Justice: How We Grow the World We Want by Ruha Benjamin. The book group will meet every other Wednesday, 7:00- 8:30 pm Eastern, beginning Sept 21, for a total of 7 sessions. The dates of other sessions are: Oct. 4th, Oct. 18th, Nov. 1st, Nov. 15th, Nov. 29th, and Dec. 13th. All are welcome.
The group will be facilitated by Fazilee Buechel and supported by Tarana Jobin. Registration is required. Email Fazilee to register. fazilee@gmail.com Closing date for registration is Sept 13.
If the schedule does not work for you, or if you know you will not be able to make it to the first session, please email Fazilee. You are still welcome to attend future sessions. We have found it to be beneficial for group cohesion and learning (in order to be on the same page:) if one attends as regularly as possible.
