Refuting 5G and Covid-19 Casuality

Blessings to our Community, During our zoom meeting with Pir Zia last Sunday I was dismayed to hear some individuals making claims that Covid-19 either transmits the virus or is a cover-up for possible damage to humans from 5G lte transmissions. It is dangerous to continue to spread these rumors.

Despite many studies, many people still believe - I stress believe, that radio frequency transmissions can alter cellular structures. NOT TRUE. It is not ionizing radiation.

There are more citations I could make but this is a good one. Fact-check, please. This is science, not belief.

Thank you for this. It disturbed me as well. It is important that we not promote this information and conspiracy theories. Regina Coeli

Yes I agree. We must stay away from this stuff.

Our order must take great care.

The truth will out anyway.

They can’t fool all the people all the time.

Vakil

Just to clarify and I was not the one who spoke about it.
What was said is that several EU countries prohibit 5G and China recently started using it. The point was that it is possible that 5G worsens patients outcomes. The person who spoke is well respected physician so I think everyone should not be disturbed but what said

There is clear potential that 5G is a problem and that it needs to be researched a lot deeper before US jumps on using it

As a physician who has looked into the possible harm of EMF transmissions, I agree that we need to differentiate absurd conspiracy therapies from areas of real scientific controversy. The idea that Corona virus is caused or transmitted by EMF is or 5G is ridiculous and bears no further discussion. On the other hand, there are distinguished and knowledgeable scientists who believe EMF transmissions may be causing harm. It is a topic on which reasonable people can disagree.

Best to all,

Thank you Hadi, This is exactly how I feel

Yes, we have two very separate issues here.

Our order must avoid the topic that is certain.

Is 5G a danger? Well I understand no research has been done to prove it is safe. Draw your own conclusions.

Dearest Ones,

I missed Sunday’s call, but have been following the discussion here. Since learning that a couple of fellas I thought were mighty cute when we were in high school have taken up more or less permanent residence in assorted rabbit holes, I’ve been giving some thought to conspiracy theories. My main conclusion is that they make for a very effective distraction from reality, especially when reality is harsh: if we can get far enough down a rabbit hole, we don’t have to even notice what’s going on aboveground. In addition, these thoughts:

  1. While linking events that take place close together in time in a chain of causality seems to be a regular function of the human brain, events that take place close together in time very often have no causal connection whatsoever, & as another regular function of the human brain, it’s always possible to take a deep breath & keep that in mind.

  2. Following 9/11, I couldn’t help noticing the proliferation of what we might call the Pet Peeve Theory of Historical Explanation, to wit: THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HAD LISTENED TO ME!!!

  3. An abundance of caution may be one of our best friends right about now (“While keeping faith in thy God, bind the knee of thy camel”), but in my experience, fear - except in situations of immediate, imminent physical danger - is a very bad counselor indeed. There’s even an acronym for it: False Evidence Appearing Real. Thoughts & fears aren’t facts. Not to mention that fear is an immunosuppresant & a clouder of intuition at precisely the time when we need to be most awake & aware in the moment. Whew - deep breath.

And finally, now that we are all more or less on involuntary retreat, we have a great opportunity to seek truth in the sense in which Murshid spoke of it when he said, “It is more important to find out the truth about oneself than to find out the truth about heaven and hell, or about many other things which are of less importance and are apart from oneself.” (The first part of that sentence appears in the Bowl of Saki for both March 9 and October 26, for emphasis maybe?). We all have at our disposal an abundance of resources & practices to bring ourselves into balance & best possible health so we can be of help to others instead of needing to be helped. My earnest plea is, can we please have recourse to those resources & practices before issuing invitations to a panic party?

Amen

Dear Friends,

This question of what to believe and what not to believe has been carefully and thoughtfully considered by librarians, especially in regard to proliferating online sources. Below is the librarians’ CRAAP test - an evaluation process for information both in print and online.

One online example was a website negating a well-known scientific theory. The creator of the website used PhD after his name. Further exploration gave the institution where he obtained his PhD. And a little more research revealed that the institution does not in fact exist. Checking sources and credentials are always a good idea. And here is how librarians - the information specialists - approach it. Use this criteria to determine for yourself what to believe and what not to believe.

Best wishes, Yasodhara Lillydahl, retired librarian

CRAAP is an acronym for
Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose. Use the CRAAP Test to
evaluate your sources.

Currency: the timeliness of the information

  • When was the information published or posted?

  • Has the information been revised or updated?

  • Is the information current or out-of date for your

    topic?

  • Are the links functional?
Relevance: the importance of the information for your needs

  • Does the information relate to your topic or answer

    your question?

  • Who is the intended audience?

  • Is the information at an appropriate level (i.e. not

too elementary or advanced for your needs)?

  • Have you looked at a variety of sources before

determining this is one you will use?

  • Would you be comfortable using this source for a

    research paper?
Authority: the source of the information

  • Who is the author/publisher/source/sponsor?

  • Are the author's credentials or organizational

    affiliations given?

  • What are the author's credentials or organizational

    affiliations given?

  • What are the author's qualifications to write on the

    topic?

  • Is there contact information, such as a publisher or

    e-mail address?

  • Does the URL reveal anything about the author or

    source?

  • examples:

  • .com (commercial), .edu

    (educational), .gov (U.S. government)

  • .org (nonprofit

    organization), or

  • .net (network)
Accuracy: the reliability, truthfulness, and correctness of the
    content

  • Where does the information come from?

  • Is the information supported by evidence?

  • Has the information been reviewed or refereed?

  • Can you verify any of the information in another source

    or from personal knowledge?

  • Does the language or tone seem biased and free of

    emotion?

  • Are there spelling, grammar, or other typographical

    errors?
Purpose: the reason the information exists

  • What is the purpose of the information? to inform?

    teach? sell? entertain? persuade?

  • Do the authors/sponsors make their intentions or

    purpose clear?

  • Is the information fact? opinion? propaganda?

  • Does the point of view appear objective and impartial?

  • Are there political, ideological, cultural, religious,

    institutional, or personal biases?

Thanks Yasodhara and Others for the thoughtful responses,

We are living in a time when carefully thought out and well documented information
does not seem to have cache’, and “facts” as we know them, are malleable and mutable.

Our ability to discern and to discriminate is in fact a mark of our Practice.

Dear Friends on the Path,

It seems that my 2 minute comment on the class video on Sunday started this list of comments. I had to go back and listen to what I said since it was off the cuff. I never said that G5 networks cause the Coronavirus or any illness, but what I was trying to express was very articulately documented in the link from Vakil from Frank Clegg and if you haven’t listened to the 10 minute video I highly recommend it! I am an MD Board certified in Holistic Medicine and Integrative Medicine and I attempt to be very careful about what I say but somehow it either didn’t come across as What I meant " Breathe spiritually but be aware of your energy field and how this can affect your immune system." Frank Clegg addresses this. It is not a conspiracy theory. (Although conspiracy is from Latin and means “to breathe together”!). Sunday we were breathing together and it is important now more than ever that we only physically isolate but not socially isolate and that breathing consciously Divine energy is extremely important.
I would like to share another video, this one a bit longer (45 min) for those who might be interested in exploring the leading edge of immunology and how spiritual science is coming together with medical science to explore the current situation. (I have lectured at international conferences on subtle energy and energy medicine and have written a 400 page volume that I never published on the subject of integration of spirit and science but that’s another subject). Dr Thomas Cowan is an anthroposophical medical doctor. In this video he actually mentions the sufi’s who say “don’t look at the heart as a pump” and his own early confusion about this but looking at the energy of it when we breathe into the heart this is where spirit enters the physical matter of our body. You may not agree with everything he says but it is not a conspiracy theory but simply a theory of where medicine can evolve into a higher understanding of how spirit and matter interact. This is important for our collective healing and stepping away from the FEAR that will kill you faster than anything else. For thirty-seven years I have been teaching my patients to breathe and some have had amazing healings that would be refuted in medicine as not possible. Be open minded but as Vajra said “tie your camel”.
Sending everyone much love, light and blessings,

Dearest Yashodara and Vajra,
I like both of those acronyms and will surely pass them along.

Of all of the challenging exchanges of late one stands out as being worth sharing at this time. I was speaking by phone with Shams K as he was preparing to go out shopping on the day that he had learned of the Bay are a lock down. Needless to say that was not exactly a pleasant prospect, but as we chatted this strategy emerged. First he did need to wear the N95 mask that he fortunately had on hand, but he could fasten a bright red nose that he had gotten from Wavy Gravy many years before. Thus he was able to leaven the necessary prudence of his mission with a bit of much needed levity, and with only a modest effort.

If we can each leaven our necessary prudence with appropriate levity, warmth and/or smiling eyes (it’s hard to see a smile behind a N95 mask) then perhaps we can help lift a bit of the 'fear fog’ that is drifting about.

yours in friendship

tomas chaitanya

Love the red nose idea - it would certainly remind me to not
touch my face!

Thank you all for staying connected, and please stay safe and
well,

Fattah!

Dear Yasodhara,

I need to enter in contact with you for Volume 3. How do I do ? This does not seem the right e mail.

Warmly.
