The Ethics Committee received and investigated a number of complaints that Hafizullah Chisti allegedly violated the Inayati Order’s ethical guidelines. As is the case for all concerns brought to the Ethics Committee, these concerns and complaints were thoroughly investigated and resulted in the determination that Hafizullah is no longer authorized to function as a Representative, including any leadership or teaching capacity, or in any other official capacity of the Inayati Order. The details of the alleged violations are confidential and the conclusions of the ethics process have been shared with members of the Order on a need-to-know basis, which is why they are being shared here. At this time we are not commenting further regarding this matter.

It is a sad thing, but I very much appreciate the professional approach, which protects all stakeholders as best it can. So many spiritual leaders and spiritual families have suffered more terribly from the lack of such an ethic, and such a process.
My sympathy with all who experienced pain in this.
