This House of Blessings where Hazrat Inayat Khan was able to grow roots with his family now needs our help to ensure its continuity as a place of pilgrimage, retreat and study for both his teachings and message and that of his daughter Noor-un-Nisa Inayat Khan .
The angels for this endeavour have already started to appear, and thanks to their generosity we are well on our way to raising the €555,000 (approximately $670,000 US Dollars) that we need for the restoration, renovation and upgrades required in order to welcome you, and all those who would like to visit, safely and inclusively.
So far we have raised €66,000 (approximately $80,000 US Dollars) which has allowed us to carry out some urgent repairs in the house. We also have a pledge of $20,000 from an anonymous donor. Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that we have received a challenge from Gabriel and Vimala Steadman who will match up to $250,000 towards our goal for the coming year. Our goal is to raise the full amount needed by Fazal Manzil’s 100th Anniversary next Spring 2022.
We hope you will join us for this launch where we will be sharing more details about the work that needs to be done. We will be joined by Pir Zia and Shaikh-al-Mashaik Mahmood Khan , Shrabani Basu (the author of Spy Princess) and guest musician Bahauddin Dagar .
