I just signed up with Instacart. For $99 per year, orders of $35 or more are delivered for free in Corpus Christi from HEB, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, Sams Club, and Target. Other stores will be available in your community. The last two times I have gone to HEB there have been 100’s of people shopping, with long lines for checkout. Even trying to stay six feet away from everyone, being in a crowded store doesn’t seem like a safe place anymore, especially since 4 out of 5 people who may have coronavirus have no symptoms and can transmit it to others. I plan to do my future shopping by delivery instead of in person. Even though it seems coronavirus probably is not in Corpus Christi (or at least not widespread at this point), it seems likely that it will spread here like it has in other places. Both California and New York are now under lockdown orders for everyone in the state except for essential workers.
