Pirzadi Shahida Noor’s life’s mission was to write stories for children. She wished to write stories that planted seeds of light in the soil of children’s minds. In this, she succeeded marvelously.
Ultimately, her life became her greatest story.
As in so many fairy tales, there is wicked villainy in this story. But the essence of the tale consists of a handful of living seeds of archangelic beauty and power.
It is for us now to hold these seeds in the soil of our minds, to give them sun and water, and to let them grow.
We have to remember, however, that Noor’s seeds are meant for children. If we are to grow them well, we must once again have the heart of a child.
