Dear friends,
Quyyima and Kabir Clainchard who represent the Knighthood in France offer this meditation on attuning to Melchizedek. Pir Zia has traced the origin of futuwwa or spiritual chivalry to Abraham and Pir Vilayat noted that Abraham received a transmission from the spiritual hierarchy through Melchizedek (see attached image). Meditation: in the Service of the Spiritual Hierarchy
Introduction
We offer you today a meditation in tuning with “the Ambassador of the Spiritual Hierarchy” (as Pir Vilayat called him), Melkizedek.
« This Melkizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, went to meet Abraham, when he returned from the battle against the kings, and blessed him. It was to him that Abraham tithe everything. First he has a name which translates to “king of justice”, and then he is also king of Salem, that is to say king of peace. He, who has neither father nor mother, nor genealogy, nor beginning for his days, nor end for his life, but who is assimilated to the Son of God, remains perpetually a priest.” (Hebrews 7: 1-4)
He conferred on Abraham, “the first spiritual knight” according to Pir Zia, and the Father of the three monotheistic religions, the blessing of the Most High. (in attachment, the image of Melkizedek with the cup initiating Abraham).
He is the ambassador of the spiritual hierarchy. Let us remember the words of Pir Zia, during a summer camp in August 2009: " The spiritual hierarchy is not a structure of domination, but a chain of beings diffusing the Light. It is possible for human beings to expand their capabilities beyond their narrow confines and work in a larger circle, to grow beyond their interests and to resonate with the Universe.
It is an opportunity to engage as a chivalric action in this field of enlightened souls and to experience the transmission of waves of inspiration, to feel carried by this transmission to commit to serve. For Murshid, the conception of enlightened souls is like a community of truth, of awakening and to access this community, there is no need to adhere to a religion: it is our birthright. The foundation is to be aware of the reality of the hierarchy, and to have a chivalrous attitude of dedication, fidelity, receptivity towards it. "
Without neglecting our personal journey, and while continuing in our daily life our various commitments (family, professional, citizens …), let us be aware that we can, and this particularly in the complex phases that our humanity is going through, put ourselves at the service of “Something bigger than yourself”, to be a humble channel of enlightened souls, of the “Cloud of witnesses”, as Pir Zia calls it.
Meditation
At first, you agree with the terrestrial pole of your being. You visualize, starting from the soles of your feet, roots which will penetrate very deeply into the earth.
When you breathe out, you offer the Earth all of your doubts, fears, everything that clutters you.
Inhale, feel the beneficial earth energy, of stability, of strength, which penetrates all the cells of your being and regenerates you.
Repeat this practice several times in order to gradually feel the letting go, the abandonment, the confidence in the Earth which carries us and which offers us all its qualities.
Then, you visualize from the top of your skull, a ray of light which rises higher and higher, towards the celestial pole . Take the time, with each breath, to feel this ray rise well and in return, to the breath, the celestial light which comes to irradiate all the cells of your being.
Between the ascending energy of your earth pole and the descending energy of your celestial pole, the junction point is your heart. You breathe in and out effortlessly in your heart, and you feel it more and more vibrant, radiant. Take the time you need to connect with the most intimate and sacred part of your being, the heart.
Tassawur Murshid
In the first phase, you tune in to Murshid, as you are used to.
In a second phase, the presence of Murshid in front of you, seems, little by little, to radiate from behind you, like a loving protection, as if Murshid passed through you and placed himself behind you. And gradually, you will enter the consciousness of Melkizedek, pronouncing in Fik’r , 33 times: Qaher - O You, divine sovereignty.
In Fik’r a sirr, feel the essence of the qualities of this spiritual being, including peace and justice.
To deepen this tuning at Melkizedek, we offer the Dk’r du Chalice (often Melkizedek is represented with a sacred cup). - 33 times.

Hu (descend into the heart)
Al Hayy (towards the right shoulder)
Al Qayyum (towards the left shoulder)

In Fik’r a sirr , after a long moment of silence in your heart, feel this blessing from Melkizedek to Abraham, with the qualities associated with Abraham (as Pir Vilayat invites us to do):
- Faith : “Faith is a living being, it is the pinnacle of belief, the mystery of life, the secret of salvation” - Murshid

- Friend of God : Wali (accentuate the second syllable) - The Wali is one who has divine grace, in proximity to God.
➔ And still in tune with Melkizedek, visualize an emerald-green light springing from the cup of your heart, a growing, regenerating, purifying light.
Visualize this light that will spread like a subtle green cloud all over the earth.
Take the time you need to feel like a channel of this green color, which, according to the Sufi Masters, is the last color, and whose purity announces the dominance of the divine Light
Then continue to radiate this energy to the different kingdoms (mineral, vegetable, animal and human). May this Light be a regenerating source for the whole Living.
After a while, slowly return to your heart, and let Sarafil Bawa’s words echo: " This is an opportunity to engage as a chivalrous action in this field of enlightened souls and to feel the transmission of waves of inspiration, to feel carried by this transmission to commit to serving. "
