A friend of mine sent me these two links, which I found very interesting. The first describes neurological correlates of different states of awareness, and the second has links to two beautiful videos about samadhi. In particular, the second samadhi video relates very much to how Pir Vilayat described samadhi with open eyes and awakening in life.
