Shams Kairys will be joined by Maori Grandmother Jamia Haqq and her daughter Dr. Aroha Spinks, an environmental scientist and expert witness currently working on protection of waterways and oceans while walking a spiritual path.
The Maori concept of whanaungatanga tells us we belong in a web of life in which everything is intimately related. Together we will explore how these understandings of belonging are expressed and lived in the Maori worldview, and how they live in us.
