Invitation: Seeking Works of Harmony & Beauty for the Knowing Podcast

Dearest Friends,

I’m excited to share news of a new media work that shares voices and actions centered on love, harmony, and beauty, and extends an invitation to those engaged in such work to be guests on the show, the Knowing podcast.

The show explores the idea that synthesizing various types of knowledge can lead to profound insights. Each episode delves into themes from different perspectives: the voice of the scientist and expert, practical experiences, creative expressions (such as song, story, and poetry), and the heart of the mystic.

We have already featured notable voices from our community, including Gayan Macher, Surhawardi Gebel, and Darakshan Farber, as well as social justice advocates like Alan Weisman and media theorist Doug Rushkoff. And this is just the beginning.

The Knowing Podcast is a collaboration between myself, Wendy Jehanara Tremayne, a Salsabil graduate of Suluk, teacher, and retreat guide. I also authored The Good Life Lab: Radical Experiments in Hands-On Living, for which Pir Zia generously wrote the foreword. My partner in this project is Rob Stroup, a record producer and multi-instrumentalist composer with a robust interest in constitutional law and a deep commitment to social justice.

This project is my first significant work in several years, and I hope this invitation will foster renewed connections and amplify the voices of the Inayatiyya community. You can explore the Knowing Podcast through this link, which will direct you to our show on Apple, Spotify, and YouTube, as well as our website and social media accounts:

Please reach out to me with works that you are involved in so that we may discuss whether they may fit in Knowing’s upcoming episodes. I look forward to what lies ahead.
