Inner School of the Inayatiyya Leaders Training Module on Sacred Sound

We invite you to the Sacred Sound Leaders Training Module offered by of the Inner School of the Inayatiyya. The Inner School’s Leaders Training Modules are a comprehensive, deep course of study in foundational meditation practices for teaching classes and guiding Murids.
The presenters for this course are the vice president of the Music activity of the Inayatiyya, Tarana Jobin, and two senior teachers of the Inner School, Sitara Mitten-Lewis and Naima Brown. During the two days they will guide participants through the foundational practices of Sacred Sound in a sacred atmosphere. There will be opportunities to ask questions, share experiences and engage in an online community of friendship. Participants will receive a manual of the contemplation practices which are covered in the course.
Completion of the Leaders Training Modules are a requirement for appointment as a Representative. Representatives in training in the Inner school of the Inayatiyya Leadership Training program will need to have completed this course during or before their training; existing Coordinators and Coordinators in training are also encouraged to take this course. Existing Representatives and Coordinators are also invited to take this course for ongoing enrichment or as a refresher.
The course is also open to Murids who have studied for sometime and are recommended by their guide to participate, who seek a comprehensive overview of our foundational practices in Sacred Sound.

Registration : Coordinators, Representatives, and Coordinators or Representatives in training in the Inner School of the Inayatiyya may register by going to https://inayatisacredsound2022.eventbee.com. All are welcome to attend at whatever cost they can afford.
Cost : Early Registration: $130.00 by Feb. 14; Registration: $150 after Feb. 14, 2022. Refresher or current Suluk attendee $95.00. Refresher is for those who wish to retake the modules to further grow and enhance their skills. To request a lower price contact leadership@inayatiyya.org to get a discount code to use during registration.
Upon registration the instructions for connecting to the course will be sent via email. PC, Mac, Android, and IOS are all supported.
Sitara Mitten-Lewis founded the first Sufi Order center in Sydney, Australia in the 1990’s and served as Regional Representative for Australia until 2010. She coordinated the IO Leaders’ Training Committee from 2010 to 2015 and is one of the developers of the Sacred Sound Module. A Senior Teacher, she guides murids and offers retreats and workshops on meditation, music and movement in the US, Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Sara Tarana Jobin is the Astana’s Music Director & Vice President of our Music Activity in North America. Inclusive of decades conducting operas and symphony orchestras in North America and Europe, music as spiritual practice remains Tarana’s greatest pursuit. Her talent is in service to projects that increase the peace, respect the planet, open people’s minds, and bring us together. She is a Suluk Gulzar graduate.
Naima Khabira Brown is Vice President of the Inner School of the Inayatiyya. She sustains and directs various programs within the Inner school including training for Coordinators and Representatives. She is a founding mentor of Suluk academy, advisor to the program and is currently serving on the Global Suluk Committee. Naima serves as a center leader and teacher for the Inayatiyya in the greater Boston area, Retreat Guide, Cheraga and offers leaders training modules, esoteric classes and retreats online and in various locations.
